Savannah

My muse, adventurer, and weirdo little sister. I wouldn't be where I am today without this little one. My personal work has taken a backseat to everything else in my life lately...and then I ran across some photos we took before Sav took off on her latest grand adventure to Maine. I remembered how important it is to keep shooting personal work, that one's heart and soul can shine through in. Sav has always been the visual representation of just that. With one look into the camera, it's as if she knows exactly what feel I want from it, and she always delivers. I'm a lucky big sister, that's for sure. We we're camping down in Arkansas, and there was a lovely little creek running through the area. It was a kind of grey day...everything was perfect. So off we went. These photos are some of what we ended up with. Thanks for being such a good lil' model, seastar.

The Giblin's Are Expecting!

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to photograph old friends. Kaitlyn and I grew up down the street from each other. We spent our weekends and days after school running around in the woods and making forts out of old logs. Fast forward to about fifteen or so years later, and Mrs. Giblin and her hubby Colt are expecting their first little baby, Atlas. She's actually due anytime now, as the expected date came and passed just yesterday! Sure can't wait to meet the little fella. We spent a few hours in some of the best golden hour light I've seen in awhile...and it was a perfect evening. I'm so happy I got to be a part of this new adventure you're beginning. You're both going to be such incredible parents. You're a lucky little dude, Atlas, and I know your parents cannot wait to meet you!
