TYLER MATLAGE :: SENIOR

     Another Forsyth boy! So crazy to see how everyone in this 2013 graduating has grown up. Tyler is another one that I've known since he was just a little fella, so it was so great getting to do his senior photos. He may not like to get his picture taken, but we still had a good time, and even stopped in to a few thrift stores along the way. How fitting.

TURNER PAYDON :: SENIOR

      I really love getting the opportunity to do milestone photo sessions of young men and women whom I've watched grow up over the years. I've known Turner since he was in grade school, and he, his parents, and sister have become like a second family to me. He has grown up into such an amazing young dude. It's crazy to think that he's graduating high school next month! We went around our home town for his shoot, and we really got some exercise in that day. Hiking to old bridges, battling through the tall weeds of an old flood area, walking around downtown...it was quite the adventure. Luckily he had his sword along...

::SAVANNAH RAYE::

 My little sister turned me into a photographer. I had dabbled for years on whatever camera we had as a family, and then I started taking my sister along on shoots. She quickly became my biggest inspiration, and the best model I could hope for. Our final shoot before she made her big move to Bellingham, Washington was not only the last time I would shoot her for awhile, but the last time she would have her long hair for a very long time. She's been growing it out for years, and a few days before she moved she cut about a foot and a half off to donate to Locks of Love in our late Aunt Kathy's honor. What better way to say goodbye to the long hair than go for a shoot on a windy day? It turned out to be the perfect time. Looking back at these photos and prepping them for this blog post was actually pretty difficult. I really miss this amazing sister of mine. I am, however, pretty excited to do part two of this photo shoot- short haired Savannah in Washington!
